From one truck to a fleet, our standard never changed: a straight price, a truck that shows up, and a load that lands where you pointed.

Built on a Simple Belief

We started Severson Ground Services on a simple belief. Hauling works better when the people quoting the job are the people running it, when the trucks are maintained before they break, and when the operator treats your site like his own street.

The early work was dirt and gravel around Anchorage: driveways, pads, spoils off excavations. We took the jobs, did the fundamentals well, and the same contractors called back.

Winter changed the business. Anchorage lots and roads fill with snow, and someone has to haul it out. Snow hauling made us a year-round operation and put the trucks to work in every month.

Todd Severson has run trucks and equipment in Anchorage for years, and Severson LLC grew around that: the fleet, the yard, and the building on Gambell Street.

Our standard is simple. Price it straight, show up when we said, and put the load where it belongs. Everything else follows.

That standard set how we work with contractors. Instead of the truck that shows up late and argues about the ticket, we plan the haul with your foreman, match the truck to the load, and keep the tickets clean.

As the work grew, so did the fleet. International dual axle dump trucks with 12-yard beds, kept in our own yard and inspected before they roll. Operators who know Southcentral's pits, scales and subdivisions.

Today we haul across Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, the Mat-Su Valley and Girdwood, for excavation contractors, landscapers, property managers and homeowners.

The next chapter is more of the same, done better: more trucks when the season demands it, tighter scheduling, and the same standard on every ticket.

Every load is a promise. The trucks, the operators and the tickets are how we keep it.
